10 On Line Automatic Translators.

Nuestro trabajo consiste en encontrar diez traductores online y definir su funcionamiento, a continuación una breve descripción del trabajo y de cada web añadida en él:

  • Google: 63 languages to translate phrases, articles and webs, it is able to pronounce the translation and it offers phonetic transcriptions. The final translation can be changed to fix the real meaning.
  • El Mundo: Only three languages, this translator is an exoansion of Reverso Translator what allow the user to look up for the result. It translates webs making a word-by-word translation.
  • Yahoo: Translates full webpages but has a limit of 150 words. It is available to look up for the result and contains a few advices to improve the translation.
  • Reverso: 7 languages, includes special characters ñ, ú, ü…It can make vocabulay corrections in English or French texts.
  • Babylon: 24 Languages, it does not have many problems with conditionals although it gives a literal translation.
  • El País: 40 langueges, it contains Spanish dictionary of synonims and antonyms, bilingual dictionaries and translate websites. It is linked to Google so it is possible to look up the result in this web.
  • Humanitas International: 24 languages, it translates webpages, emails, phrases. It is available to identify unknown languages and it is linked to many other pages, depending on the webpage used, the result could change or not.
  • Bing: 37 languages, detects tha language from the original text and gives the pronunciation of the text translated. It is possible to look up for the result in Bing.com.
  • Word Lingo: 32 languages, it can identify the original language of the text and has a limit of 500 words, the translation can be sent by e-mail.
  • Politraductor: 27 languages, but it also contains links to others translators and can be places in your website as a gadget.
